Bethlehem: Several solidarity activists today suffered suffocation and bruises after being assaulted by colonists in the Harmala area, southeast of Bethlehem, security sources reported.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, activists from the Israeli Peace Movement had opened a dirt road in Harmala that was previously blocked by colonists. In response, the colonists attacked the activists, using sticks to beat them and employing tear gas canisters and pepper spray. This assault led to several activists experiencing suffocation, bruises, and wounds.
The activists have been engaging in efforts to open roads that have been blocked by colonists, demonstrating their support and solidarity with local residents.
