According to Palestine news andInformation Agency, the colonists arrived at the site by bus and were escorted by Israeli occupation forces. They stayed for approximately four hours before departing with a military escort, leaving four colonists and four soldiers at the location.
The Mayor of al-Jib, Samer Abdul Rabbeh, reported that following the initial departure, another bus returned to the site. Israeli forces continued to block the entrance to al-Ras, further restricting access for local residents. During the raid, the colonists also raised Israeli flags at the site.
Abdul Rabbeh emphasized the historical and archaeological importance of al-Ras, which is situated within the Old City of al-Jib, highlighting the gravity of the situation due to the ongoing denial of access to Palestinian residents.
