Jenin:Colonists have reportedly stolen olive harvests from lands in Khirbet Masoud, located south of Jenin. This incident follows similar thefts in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.
According to Palestine news andInformation Agency, the colonists entered the lands of Khirbet Masoud with agricultural tractors and took the olive harvest. Earlier that day, settlers were also reported to have taken olive harvests from the towns of Sinjil and Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah.
In addition to the alleged thefts, colonists reportedly set fire to a vehicle belonging to Ahmad Shahada in the village of Deir Abu Mash'al, northwest of Ramallah. These incidents are occurring as the olive harvest season begins. During this time, Palestinian farmers often face attacks that include theft of fruit, damage to trees, and seizure of crops, which impede their access to the land and agricultural benefits.
