Colonist Attacks on Palestinians Described as Organized Policy

Baku:Amir Dawoud, director general of the Documentation and Publishing Department at the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, stated that colonist attacks have become an organized policy aimed at displacing Palestinians and preventing them from accessing their land.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Dawoud highlighted a significant increase in these attacks over the past four years. He explained that they have evolved from isolated incidents to a strategic tool for imposing new realities on the ground, with backing and protection from the Israeli government.

Dawoud noted that more than 110 Bedouin communities have faced partial or complete displacement in the last three years. He mentioned that the Israeli military provides protection to settlers, despite official Israeli statements claiming that addressing these attacks is challenging.

He also pointed out that Israeli authorities use checkpoints and military gates to restrict Palestinian movement and access to essential services. This, Dawoud argued, fragments Palestinian geography and supports annexation and settlement expansion policies as part of broader efforts to seize control of Palestinian land.
