Beijing: China’s Foreign Ministry announced its opposition to any calls for the seizure of the Gaza Strip and the displacement of Palestinians from their homeland. The statement was issued on Wednesday, reflecting Beijing’s stance on the ongoing situation in the region.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, a spokesman from the Chinese Foreign Ministry emphasized that Beijing is hopeful all parties involved will view the ceasefire and subsequent management of the Gaza Strip as an opportunity to revive political discussions. The ministry further highlighted the importance of steering these discussions back towards the two-state solution as a means to resolve the Palestinian issue.
