Casualty Figures Rise as Israeli Airstrikes Hit Lebanon

Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced Wednesday night that Israeli airstrikes on Beirut and several towns in southern and eastern Lebanon have killed 182 people and injured 890 others, according to casualty figures so far for today.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a statement issued by the Health Emergency Operations Center detailed that the airstrikes carried out by Israel on Wednesday resulted, in a second preliminary tally, in 182 killed and 890 injured. This escalation in violence adds to the ongoing toll since March 2, bringing the overall casualties to 1,739 killed and 5,873 injured.
