Arab League Urges Global Action to Shield Palestinians from Israeli Colonist Violence

Cairo: The Council of the League of Arab States called on Monday for immediate international intervention to protect the Palestinian people against Israeli crimes, and terrorism committed by Israeli colonist militias, according to a statement.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Council urged the international community, including the United Nations, the UN Security Council, and the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention, to take action based on international law, UN resolutions, and relevant international and regional agreements and treaties.

The appeal was made at the conclusion of the 166th regular session of the Arab foreign ministers, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo. The session was chaired by Tunisia and included the participation of Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy and representatives from Palestine.
