Police media spokesman, Colonel Louay Arziqat, said that a two-year-old child died on Saturday evening, drowning inside one of the tourist villas in the city of Qalqilya.
Arziqat stated that the governorate police operations room received a report about the child’s arrival in critical condition to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in the city after he drowned in a swimming pool.
He added that the doctors later announced his death and that the police began research and investigation procedures into the circumstances of the accident, and the necessary legal procedures are being completed
