Tunis:Tunisia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad has condemned the continued aggression by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian cities, including Ramallah and Al-Bireh. The ministry described recent detentions and raids as part of a genocidal campaign against the Palestinian people.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the ministry issued a statement on Wednesday condemning the escalation of military operations and colonization efforts. These actions, the statement noted, have expanded from the Gaza Strip to the entire occupied Palestinian Territory, aiming to forcibly displace Palestinians and undermine their cause.
Tunisia has called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by pressuring Israeli forces to cease military operations and stop crimes against Palestinians. The ministry emphasized Tunisia's unwavering support for the Palestinian struggle for their legitimate rights.
The statement also reiterated Tunisia's support for Palestinian self-determination and the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
