Al-Jiftlik:Colonists have established a new colonial outpost on Palestinian-owned land in the village of al-Jiftlik, located north of Jericho. This development was confirmed by a local official.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, Firas Jahalin, head of the al-Jiftlik local council, reported that colonists brought vehicles and construction equipment into the area to set up metal arches and tarpaulins as part of their preparations for the new outpost.
This marks the second colonial outpost established on the same day. Earlier, colonists erected an outpost on a hill opposite the al-Balou' neighborhood, north of al-Bireh. Local sources informed WAFA that two mobile homes were placed by colonists near the northern entrance to al-Bireh, along the road leading to the village of Beitin.
