Ramallah:Israeli colonists set fire to dozens of olive trees in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, on Friday morning.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the head of the Burqa village council, Sayel Kanaan, reported that colonists burned and cut down numerous fruit-bearing olive trees in the al-Qibla area south of the village.
Kanaan further stated that civil defense teams and local citizens were unable to reach the affected area due to restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation forces, coupled with the heavy presence of colonists.
