Ya'bad:Israeli occupation forces obstructed residents of Ya'bad, southwest of Jenin, from accessing their lands to harvest olives on Tuesday, despite prior arrangements. Several individuals were detained, and the majority were forced to return.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the Ya'bad Municipality reported that although residents coordinated in advance to reach their lands near the "Dotan" settlement, most were blocked by the forces. Numerous vehicles carrying the residents were also detained, and only about four families managed to access their land.
The municipality further stated that the forces detained several young men, some of whom were bound and blindfolded, and were subsequently forced to leave the area. The majority of residents were effectively prevented from harvesting their olives, except for a small number of farmers over the age of 45.
