Hebron:Israeli occupation forces have demolished agricultural structures, uprooted hundreds of fruit-bearing trees, and razed areas of agricultural land in the village of Shuyukh al-Arrub, located north of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Issa Ayad, head of the Shuyukh al-Arrub Village Council, reported that the forces began the demolition of farm rooms, a water well, and retaining walls. They also uprooted hundreds of fruit-bearing trees and destroyed vegetable crops in the "Al-Quniya" area, west of the village, affecting land owned by several local families.
Ayad stated that the operations have impacted more than 10 dunums of land, with over 300 fruit-bearing trees uprooted as the razing continues. He expressed concern that these actions might lead to the occupation seizing about 290 dunums of land, which had been previously declared as "state land" by the occupation.
Despite possessing legal documentation proving private ownership of the land, Ayad explained that efforts to present these documents to an occupation court have so far been unsuccessful in stopping the ongoing destruction.
