Bethlehem:Israeli colonists reportedly attacked a wedding procession on Friday in the Abu Njeim area, southeast of Bethlehem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the colonists obstructed the movement of vehicles involved in the wedding, engaging in provocations, harassment, and inhumane behavior.
Recent incidents have seen colonists escalating their attacks against residents of Khalayel al-Louz, including assaults on vehicles, opening fire, and blocking secondary roads. Violence by colonists against Palestinians and their property is a common occurrence in the West Bank and is infrequently prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Such violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes. Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists reside in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which are considered illegal under international law.
