Ya'bad:Near Ya'bad Colonists stole 16 bags of harvested olives from a Palestinian vehicle detained by Israeli forces at the Dotan military checkpoint close to the town of Ya'bad, southwest of Jenin.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the vehicle, belonging to Palestinian farmer Rabie Al-Makhal, was carrying 70 bags of olives when it was stopped by Israeli forces. During this detention, colonists took 16 bags.
Incidents involving Israeli forces and colonists against Palestinian farmers have increased significantly with the onset of the olive harvest season. These include theft of crops, obstructing farmers' access to their lands, assaults, and firing live ammunition. Last week, similar attacks resulted in the death of one Palestinian and injuries to others.
