Tulkarm:A Palestinian man, Raafat Khairy Abu Khalil, aged 45, died on Sunday afternoon while detained at the Israeli military checkpoint of Ennab, located east of Tulkarm.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported receiving a notification about a critically ill individual at the checkpoint. Upon arrival, medical teams discovered Abu Khalil undergoing cardiopulmonary resuscitation after suffering cardiac arrest. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Red Crescent confirmed that Abu Khalil's body was subsequently taken to Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm. Abu Khalil was a captain at the Palestinian Military Training Authority in Jericho.
