Tubas:Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinian farmers and seized a truck in the Ras al-Ahmar area, southeast of Tubas.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Mutaz Basharat, the Tubas Governorate official responsible for the Jordan Valley file, reported that the farmers were detained while on their agricultural lands. The seized truck was loaded with a banana crop.
The area of Ras al-Ahmar has been under siege for over two weeks, with Israeli forces digging a trench and closing access routes, thereby restricting residents' movement and access to their lands. This is part of ongoing actions against the local population.
Additionally, since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces have been carrying out extensive land leveling in the area to construct a military road through Palestinian lands. This has involved the demolition of artesian wells and damage to irrigation networks and water pipelines.
