Bethlehem:Israeli forces have closed the main entrance to the village of al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem, imposing movement restrictions on residents. This closure, executed with an iron gate near the 'landfill' area, forces villagers to rely on rough and hazardous dirt roads.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the head of the al-Minya Village Council, Ahmed Qawazbeh, reported that the village has witnessed an escalation in attacks by Israeli forces and settlers. These incidents include damage to the water network, attacks on homes, gunfire, attempts to run over residents, and the establishment of a settlement outpost in the al-Qarn area.
In the nearby town of Tuqu', the main entrances have been blocked since Tuesday with iron gates, disrupting routes to Bethlehem city center. Saqr Suleiman, Chairman of the Tuqu' Municipal Council, highlighted that the gates are set up in the Khirbet al-Deir and al-Halqoum areas, severely limiting residents' ability to reach workplaces and move within the town.
