Israeli Colonists Assault Minor Near Hebron

Hebron:A minor was beaten by Israeli colonists on Tuesday evening in the Huwara area, east of Yatta, located in the southern Hebron governorate.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency - WAFA - English, the incident was reported by media activist Osama Makhamra, who stated that the colonists targeted a Palestinian dwelling and inflicted bruises on the minor.

Incidents of colonists' violence against Palestinians and their property are common in the West Bank and are rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. These acts of violence often include property damage, mosque arsons, stone-throwing, the uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes.

Currently, there are approximately 1 million Israeli colonists residing in colonies throughout the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which are considered illegal under international law.
