Jenin:Israeli occupation forces detained a female pharmacist, Umaima Numan Abed, in the early hours today during a raid in the town of Kafr Dan, located west of Jenin.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, local sources reported that the forces conducted raids on several homes in Kafr Dan, searching them thoroughly before detaining Abed. Her family's home was specifically targeted and its contents were ransacked during the operation.
The detention of Abed occurred amidst a broader campaign by Israeli forces involving raids, searches, and field interrogations in various villages and towns across the Jenin governorate.
In a related operation in Qabatiya, Israeli forces carried out extensive home searches and conducted field interrogations. Several young men were briefly detained before the forces withdrew from the town.
