Beirut: Israeli forces continued their attacks on southern Lebanon, targeting towns, residential areas, and civilian and healthcare facilities, amid incursions and military movements in several border areas.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, on Friday, occupation forces set fire to the Mays al-Jabal Government Hospital in the Marjeyoun District. This attack specifically targeted a civilian health facility. The Lebanese Ministry of Health condemned the burning of the hospital, describing it as a flagrant assault on a health institution that ought to be shielded from such attacks.
In the town of Deir Mimas in the Marjeyoun District, occupation forces have established a temporary observation post at the town's outskirts. There have been reports of sound bombs in the surrounding area, adding to the tension in the region.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have also continued shelling several areas across southern Lebanon, exacerbating the situation and impacting civilians in the affected regions.
