Tubas: Israeli forces withheld three Palestinians on Saturday in the al-Ras al-Ahmar area, southeast of Tubas. Abdullah Basharat, head of the Atoof and al-Ras al-Ahmar Village Council, stated that Israeli soldiers detained three Palestinians while they were grazing their livestock in the area, emphasizing that the soldiers threatened to detain anyone found there.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the al-Ras al-Ahmar area has been subjected for months to extensive land leveling to construct a 22-kilometer-long military road. This road, which is 50 meters wide, extends from the Ain Shibli checkpoint southeast of Tubas to the Tayasir checkpoint east of Tubas, passing through parts of the Atoof Plain and al-Ras al-Ahmar.
