Gaza: Israeli forces began demolishing, on Wednesday morning, a pastoral community in the western area of Deir Ballut town, west of Salfit. Local sources reported that the community, home to more than 20 Palestinians for over two decades, faced the onslaught as the forces moved in to execute the demolition.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the residents of this community have around 1,000 sheep. The destruction of their homes poses a significant threat to their livelihoods, raising concerns about potential displacement and depopulation of the area. The incident is part of a broader trend involving land leveling and the seizure of expansive tracts of land around Deir Ballut.
