Gaza: Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian house on Wednesday in the Khallet al-Homs area of Yatta, south of Hebron. Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh reported that Israeli forces, accompanied by military vehicles, raided the area and demolished a two-story house belonging to Fadel al-Haddar. Each floor measured 200 square meters, and the house was home to eight people, most of them children.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, during August, Israeli forces carried out 71 demolition operations across the West Bank, targeting 155 structures. These included 47 inhabited homes, eight uninhabited homes, 33 livelihood-generating structures, 61 agricultural structures, and six other facilities. Additionally, authorities issued 44 demolition notices targeting Palestinian structures and property.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that the demolitions directly affected at least 200 Palestinians, including 75 children and 56 women.
