Egypt’s El-Sisi and Saudi Arabia’s Bin Salman Reaffirm Two-State Solution for Palestinian Settlement

Cairo: Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reaffirmed the need for a just and comprehensive settlement based on the two-state solution and international legitimacy. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the leaders made their statement during a meeting in Cairo as part of Saudi Arabia Crown Prince's working visit to Egypt. The two leaders affirmed the convergence of Egyptian and Saudi positions on the Palestinian cause and stressed the need to implement the obligations of the second phase of the U.S. President's peace plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803. They emphasized ensuring the delivery of sufficient quantities of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and putting an end to Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip, the occupied West Bank, and East Jerusalem.
