Ramallah: The Meteorological Department has forecasted that today, the weather will be hot in mountainous areas and very hot in other regions. Temperatures are expected to remain approximately 4 degrees Celsius above the annual average with no significant change anticipated. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, winds will blow westerly to northwesterly, ranging from light to moderate speeds, and may occasionally increase. Sea conditions are expected to vary between slight to moderate. During the evening and night, a pleasant climate is expected in mountainous areas while other regions will stay warm. The meteorological patterns, including wind and sea conditions, are expected to persist into the evening. The forecast for Wednesday indicates that hot weather will continue in the mountainous regions, while very hot conditions will persist elsewhere. Similar to today, no significant temperature changes are expected, maintaining levels about 4 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average. O n Thursday, the weather will maintain its hot nature in the mountainous areas and very hot in other regions. A slight drop in temperature is anticipated; however, they will still be about 2 degrees Celsius above the annual average. The trend is expected to continue on Friday, with temperatures holding steady at 2 degrees Celsius above the norm. Throughout the upcoming days, the prevailing westerly to northwesterly winds will remain light to moderate, occasionally picking up speed, with sea conditions continuing to range from slight to moderate. The Meteorological Department has advised citizens to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak hours from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It has also cautioned against lighting fires in areas with dry vegetation and the dangers posed by leaving children or the elderly in closed vehicles as temperatures rise.
