Palestinian and New Zealand Foreign Ministers Discuss Occupied Palestinian Territory Developments

Ramallah: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Aghabekian Shahin discussed with New Zealand Foreign Minister Winston Peters the latest political and field developments in the occupied Palestinian territory, including the situation in the Gaza Strip and the escalating terrorism by Israeli colonists in the West Bank.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, during a phone call held today, the two ministers also discussed efforts and steps that the international community can take to support the peace process and advance the implementation of the peace plan. Peters affirmed New Zealand's continued commitment to the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and its support for the two-state solution as the path to achieving peace and stability in the region.
