Israeli Forces Shell Areas in Southern Syria

Gaza: Israeli occupation forces shelled the outskirts of Beit Jinn village in Syria's southern Rif Dimashq Governorate on Friday and opened fire toward civilian homes in the town of Maariya, in western Daraa province.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces targeted the area around Bat al-Warda hill near Beit Jinn with several artillery shells. SANA reported that this was the second Israeli attack targeting the vicinity of the town on Friday. Earlier in the day, an artillery shell landed in agricultural land west of Beit Jinn, causing no injuries or property damage.

In addition to the shelling in Rif Dimashq, Israeli forces also opened fire toward civilian homes in Maariya, located in the western Daraa province. Fortunately, no injuries or property damage were reported in this incident.
