Gaza city: Israeli strikes on Tuesday resulted in the death of a Palestinian and injuries to 15 others across the Gaza Strip, as reported by medical sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp confirmed the admission of a deceased Palestinian and 11 casualties, some in critical condition, following an Israeli drone attack that targeted a tent sheltering displaced individuals within the camp.
In the southern Strip, medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis reported that two individuals were brought to the hospital after an Israeli drone strike targeted a house located south of the city. Concurrently, Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City received two casualties following a drone strike on a house rooftop near Sheikh Radwan Cemetery in the northwest of the city.
Israel has been conducting military operations in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 73,662 Palestinians, many of whom are women and children, and injuring 174,627 individuals. The strikes have also devastated 90% of the Strip's infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated at $70 billion.
Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2025, 1,355 Palestinians have been killed and 4,516 injured. During this period, the bodies of 827 Palestinians have been recovered. Additionally, at least 10,000 people remain missing, believed to be trapped beneath the ruins of their homes.
The ongoing conflict has led to the displacement of nearly two million people within the Gaza Strip, predominantly relocating to the southern city of Rafah near the Egyptian border, marking the largest mass displacement of Palestinians since the 1948 Nakba.
