Gaza city: Israeli occupation authorities today issued stop-work orders against a number of Palestinian facilities and parcels of land in Nablus.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Palestinian security sources reported that several Israeli military vehicles entered the al-Maajeen neighborhood, where soldiers posted stop-work notices on a kindergarten owned by Palestinian citizen Tareq al-Majdalawi, the Aydi al-Mustaqbal Association, and various parcels of land. The authorities claim these properties are situated in an area classified as Area C.
Israeli authorities have a history of targeting Palestinian structures with stop-work and construction orders in Area C. Palestinians in this area face restrictions when attempting to obtain Israeli-issued building permits.
The Aydi al-Mustaqbal Association has been compelled by the occupation authorities to remain closed since June 18.
