Hebron: Israeli forces demolished four water wells and several greenhouses on Wednesday in the Al-Thaghra neighborhood of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, media activist Muhammad Awad reported that Israeli forces used a bulldozer to demolish four water wells in the al-Thaghra area, each reaching approximately 40 meters underground. These wells were primarily used to irrigate crops and for other agricultural purposes.
Awad further explained that Israeli soldiers also demolished several greenhouses in the same area, citing the lack of permits as the reason for their actions. The greenhouses belonged to Khaled Yousef Breigheth, Abdullah Abdul-Muttalib Breigheth, and Nabil Munir Breigheth, all residents of Beit Ummar.
He also noted that the losses resulting from the demolitions are estimated at more than 200,000 shekels, according to the affected residents.
