Five Fishermen Injured by Israeli Naval Gunfire Off Gaza City Coast

Gaza city: Five fishermen were injured today by Israeli naval gunfire while working off the coast of Gaza City. Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli warships opened fire at the fishermen's boats, resulting in the injuries.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that its crews transported three of the injured fishermen to the Society's Al-Saraya Field Hospital and two to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City for necessary medical care.

Since the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip was announced on October 11, 2025, a total of 1,318 Palestinians have been killed and 4,375 others injured. Additionally, the bodies of 815 Palestinians have been recovered during this period.

The overall death toll from Israel's aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has escalated to 73,454, with 174,486 others injured.
