Gaza: Israeli occupation forces tonight raided the town of Turmus Ayya and the village of Deir Jarir, in Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. Local sources said that occupation forces raided Turmus Ayya and set up a checkpoint at one of its entrances, obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles. The forces also raided Deir Jarir and searched a home, while Israeli terrorist colonists entered the vicinity of citizens' homes on the outskirts of the village, amid heightened tensions in the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the villages and towns north and east of Ramallah are subjected to repeated raids and attacks by Israeli occupation forces and colonists. Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces tonight closed the entrance to the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, preventing citizens from entering or leaving the village and detaining several of them. They also prevented citizens from returning to the neighboring village of Abu Falah.
Local sources said the closure coincided with the deployment of Israeli terrorist colonists and their livestock in areas south and west of the village, particularly in the Marj Si' plain and al-Khalayel area, under the protection of occupation forces. Footage circulating from the entrance to al-Mughayyir showed colonists approaching its closed main entrance, while occupation forces were deployed in the area.
Al-Mughayyir, along with a number of Palestinian villages and towns in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, is subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli terrorist colonists, including grazing their livestock on citizens' lands and seizing areas of land.
