Update (2): Three Palestinians Killed in Israeli Airstrike Targeting House Under Construction in Jenin

Jenin: Three Palestinians were killed on Friday evening in an Israeli drone strike targeting a house under construction in the western area of Jenin City, while Israeli forces withheld their bodies, security sources reported. The victims were identified as Qais Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Baitawi, 22, Basel Mohammad Ibrahim Turkman, 26, and Moamen Mohammad Fares Jaradat, 22.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that the three Palestinians were killed instantly in the airstrike. Israeli forces withheld the bodies and prevented ambulance crews from reaching the site to evacuate them. The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that Israeli forces detained its crews in Jenin upon their arrival at the strike site. Although the crews were subsequently released, their medical equipment was confiscated, and they were forced to leave the area without evacuating casualties.

Later, several Israeli military vehicles stormed the area and deployed around the targeted house, amid a widespread presence of Israeli forces across several areas of Jenin City. Local sources indicated that Israeli forces moved extensively across the city, with military vehicles traveling along several routes, creating a state of tension and caution among residents.

In a related incident, a Palestinian was detained by Israeli forces near Al-Nasim Roundabout in Jenin City, WAFA correspondent reported.
