Israeli Forces Erect Gate, Isolating Homes Near Nablus

Gaza: Israeli forces set a gate on Wednesday on the only road leading to three homes under siege in the Ras al-Ain area of Qusra, south of Nablus, effectively cutting the area off from its surroundings.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Qusra Mayor Abdul-Azim Wadi stated that the Israeli forces installed the gate, further isolating the area. This action exacerbates the difficulties faced by residents, who are already dealing with the presence of colonists and an ongoing siege of their homes for the 18th consecutive day.

Mayor Wadi explained that there are four roads leading to Ras al-Ain, but this is the second gate to be installed. In addition, Israeli forces have blocked the other routes with earth mounds, restricting access for the three besieged families, who now face shortages of food and medicine.

Colonists have been besieging the three homes in Ras al-Ain for 18 days, while the Israeli army has declared the area a closed military zone.
