Gaza: Izbat al-Tabib: Israeli forces today stormed the village of Izbat al-Tabib, east of Qalqilya, closing its two entrances, raiding several citizens' homes and facilities, and bulldozing agricultural land, uprooting ancient and fruit-bearing olive trees.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local activist and village representative Bayan al-Tabib reported that Israeli forces raided the village, closing its eastern and western entrances with military checkpoints. The forces also targeted several Palestinian citizens' homes and Izbat al-Tabib Mixed Basic School.
In the eastern part of the village, Israeli forces bulldozed an estimated five dunums of agricultural land, uprooting olive trees owned by local residents. These actions have led to a significant disruption in the daily lives of the villagers, who depend on these olive trees for their livelihood.
The Israeli forces remain deployed in the area, enforcing strict military restrictions on the movement of local residents. These developments have heightened tensions in the region, with increased concerns over further military activity and its impact on the local community.
