Colonists Vandalize Contents of Home Near Jenin

Gaza: Israeli colonists on Wednesday evening vandalized the contents of a home under construction in Deir Abu Da'if, east of Jenin, according to local sources. They reported that colonists broke into a home belonging to the Abu al-Ragheb Mahamid family, located in an area between Jalbun and Deir Abu Da'if. The intruders smashed the home's ceramic tiles and stole water and electricity motors.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the vandals also cut down several olive trees surrounding the home. This incident is part of a broader pattern of colonists' violence against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank, which rarely results in prosecution by Israeli authorities.

Such violence by colonists includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes. Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists reside in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, a situation that violates international law.
