Jerusalem: Israeli colonists on Monday tore up the landscape for the construction of a colonist-only road in Beit Anan, northwest of Jerusalem, according to Jerusalem Governorate. It stated that colonists escorted bulldozers to the Wadi al-Kikba area of the town and began leveling Palestinian inhabitants' lands for the construction of a new road.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law. Israel refers to the occupied West Bank as 'Judea and Samaria' to reinforce its claims to the territory and seek historical and religious legitimacy.
