Gaza: Israeli forces on Tuesday issued demolition orders for three tourist facilities in the village of Arraneh, east of Jenin, according to local officials. Arraneh Village Council head Mahmoud Al-Saadi stated that Israeli forces entered the village and delivered demolition notices for three tourism-related businesses situated near the Arraneh roundabout at the village entrance.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli authorities claim that the facilities were constructed in an archaeological area, using this as the justification for the demolition orders. Al-Saadi emphasized that these businesses are owned by local residents and provide a source of income for their owners.
Al-Saadi described the demolition orders as part of wider measures that obstruct development in the village. He mentioned that the village council plans to pursue legal action in coordination with the relevant authorities to address the situation.
