According to the Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, such raids by Israeli forces are a common occurrence across the West Bank. These operations are often justified by the military as efforts to locate 'wanted' Palestinians. However, they frequently result in confrontations with local residents. The Israeli military conducts these raids without the requirement of a search warrant, exercising broad discretionary powers to act at any time and place within the region.
