Gaza: Israeli colonists on Tuesday vandalized the main water supply line of the Ras al-Ahmar community, southeast of Tubas, according to a local source. Abdullah Basharat, head of the Atouf and Ras al-Ahmar Village Council, reported that the colonists damaged the pipeline that provides essential drinking and irrigation water to the community. This act has left approximately 30 Palestinian families without water, impacting their livestock and the cultivation of roughly 8,000 dunums of land on which they rely for their livelihood.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the incident occurs amid ongoing activities by Israeli occupation authorities who have been clearing extensive areas of Palestinian-owned land in Atouf and Ras al-Ahmar. This land clearance is part of a project to construct a 22-kilometer-long and 50-meter-wide military road. The road aims to connect the Ain Shibli checkpoint, located southeast of Tubas, to the Tayasir checkpoint, situated east of the city.
