Beit furik: Two Palestinians were injured on Saturday after Israeli colonists attacked the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, according to local and medical sources. The director of the Palestine Red Crescent Society's ambulance and emergency center in Nablus, Ameed Ahmad, reported that ambulance crews treated two young Palestinian men who were assaulted and beaten by colonists in the area.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Israeli forces and colonists carried out 2,256 attacks against Palestinians, their land, and property across the occupied West Bank in July. Israeli forces were responsible for 1,458 of these attacks, while colonists carried out 798.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission highlighted that the attacks were mainly concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah and al-Bireh, with 260 attacks; Nablus, 247; Jenin, 190; Bethlehem, 185; and Hebron, 170. The commission noted a clear coordination between military forces and colonist violence, with Israeli forces providing protection and support that enables the expansion of these attacks and allows their consequences to become established realities on the ground.
