Occupation Forces Advance Settlement Plans in Tubas with New Mobile Homes

Gaza: Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday brought additional mobile homes to the vicinity of the Tayasir military checkpoint, east of Tubas, as part of plans to establish a new Israeli colonial settlement in the area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mahdi Daraghmeh, head of the Al-Maleh Village Council, indicated that Israeli occupation forces continue to transport caravans to the site. This is part of a broader plan to establish a new colonial settlement, which is one of several previously announced construction projects.

Daraghmeh also noted that Israeli occupation authorities are engaged in land-leveling and bulldozing activities around the checkpoint. The plans for the site include the construction of a synagogue, recreational facilities for children, and swimming pools as integral components of the colonial project.

This development is part of a broader escalation in Israeli colonial settlement activities across the northern Jordan Valley. The aim is to create new realities on the ground, thereby further consolidating Israeli control over the area.
