Gaza: UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory, Francesca Albanese, has highlighted an alarming rise in violent incidents involving armed Israeli groups targeting unarmed Palestinians in the West Bank. Albanese's comments specifically pointed to actions by colonists against Palestinian communities. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Albanese has urgently called for an end to these violent confrontations and stressed the necessity for accountability measures to be enforced on those responsible. Her call to action follows a particularly violent episode in the village of Tell, located west of Nablus, where four Palestinians were killed and several others injured. Albanese described the incident with grave concern, noting that five men were shot in cold blood in the villages of Tell and Far'ata. She further emphasized that the leaders of these armed groups have openly spoken about the attacks, underscoring the need for immediate interve ntion to prevent further escalation of violence across the West Bank.
