Gaza: Four Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces on Friday during an attack by Israeli colonists on the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the ministry reported that four other Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire, three of them critically, while confronting the colonist attack on the village. Issam al-Saifi, secretary of the Fatah movement in Tell, stated that colonists initially attacked two homes in the eastern part of the town, prompting residents to respond and force a withdrawal.
Al-Saifi further explained that half an hour later, the colonists launched another attack on the western part of the town, leading to clashes between residents and the colonists, who were supported by Israeli occupation forces. These forces stormed the area to provide protection to the colonists.
He noted that Israeli soldiers and colonists opened fire indiscriminately at the residents, resulting in the deaths of four young Palestinians, including two brothers and their cousins, and injuring four others. The Israeli forces also declared the town a closed military zone, while colonists continued to deploy around the area.
The Ministry of Health disclosed that 82 Palestinians have been killed in governorates across the occupied West Bank since the beginning of this year, including 21 who were killed by Israeli colonists.
