Israeli Forces Raid Nablus Specialized Hospital, Assault Medical Staff

Gaza: Israeli occupation forces raided Nablus Specialized Hospital on Friday, detaining two brothers, including a wounded patient, and assaulting medical staff in the hospital's emergency department.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Dani al-Masri, deputy chair of the hospital's board of directors, stated that Israeli forces surrounded the hospital, stormed the emergency department, and assaulted medical personnel. The staff, including doctors and nurses, were reportedly handcuffed during the incident.

Al-Masri detailed that one of the detained individuals, Ali Ramadan, was a patient receiving treatment at the hospital for a gunshot wound to his shoulder sustained during an earlier assault on the town of Tell. The Israeli forces also confiscated surveillance camera recordings from the hospital and attempted to breach the administration office doors.

WAFA correspondent noted the presence of a significant number of Israeli military vehicles entering the city of Nablus via the Huwwara military checkpoint, proceeding towards the hospital, which remained surrounded at the time of reporting.
