Endowments Ministry Condemns Planned Mass Incursion Into Al-Aqsa Mosque

Gaza: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs condemned inciting calls issued by so-called 'Temple Mount' organizations to mobilize the largest possible incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow, Thursday, and demand permission to carry out nighttime incursions following the so-called 'Sovereignty March,' which coincides with the anniversary of the so-called 'destruction of the alleged Temple.'

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the ministry stated that these calls and plans, aiming to bring over 5,000 colonists into the mosque and impose new nighttime incursions, represent a dangerous escalation and an open attempt to alter the existing historical and legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The ministry emphasized that Al-Aqsa Mosque, encompassing an area of 144 dunums, is solely a Muslim right and cannot be divided or shared. It affirmed that attempts by colonists to impose new realities will not grant them legitimacy.

The Ministry of Endowments held the occupation authorities fully responsible for the consequences of these provocations and for providing cover for extremist ideas. It called on Palestinians and all those able to reach Al-Aqsa Mosque to make their way to the mosque and remain in its courtyards to thwart these plans.

Furthermore, the ministry urged the international community and Arab and Islamic countries to urgently intervene and pressure the occupying state to halt these violations targeting Muslim holy sites.
