17-Year-Old Palestinian Dies from Injuries Sustained in Israeli Raid on Al-Mughayyir

Gaza: A 17-year-old Palestinian succumbed to wounds early Saturday after being shot by Israeli forces in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Marzouq Abu Naim, deputy head of the al-Mughayyir village council, reported that al-Naasan had been shot in the thigh by an explosive bullet during an Israeli raid on the village about a week earlier. The bullet, fired during a colonist attack, caused critical injuries, and he was later pronounced dead from his injuries. On July 11, Israeli forces and colonists attacked the home of Muhammad Hamed Abu Aliya in al-Mughayyir, shooting al-Naasan in the thigh with live ammunition. Other residents were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets. A 10-year-old child, Raed Odeh Abu Alia, was also struck in the head by a stun grenade. The village of Al-Mughayir and the surrounding areas have been subjected to continuous attacks by colonists on citizens and their property, in addition to ongoing raids by the occupation forces.
