Gaza Death Toll Climbs to 73,221 Amid Ongoing Conflict

Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has reached 73,221, with 173,643 people injured since October 7, 2023, medical sources in the enclave reported Saturday.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, hospitals across Gaza have received seven bodies over the past 24 hours, including one recovered from beneath the rubble, and 28 injured individuals.

The sources further reported that since the ceasefire commenced on October 11 last year, the death toll has reached 1,098, with 3,535 people injured. Additionally, 800 bodies have been retrieved during the same period.

Medical sources indicated that a number of victims remain trapped beneath rubble and in the streets, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
