Gaza: Israeli occupation forces detained seven fishermen early Tuesday morning while they were working off the coast of al-Zawayda town in the central Gaza Strip. Local sources reported that the occupation forces intercepted the fishermen at sea west of the town before detaining them and taking them to an unknown location.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the occupation continues to target Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza Strip's sea by pursuing, shooting at, and detaining them. These actions are in addition to imposing severe restrictions on fishing, depriving thousands of Palestinian families of their livelihood and exacerbating the humanitarian situation in the Strip.
